RULES OF SHARING INFORMATION

Public statistics ensures: equal, simultaneous, even access to statistical data. Individual and personal data obtained and collected in statistical research are subject to special protection. They are covered by statistical confidentiality, meaning they cannot be disclosed and published - they are used exclusively for statistical compilations, aggregations and for the creation of sampling frames for statistical research by public statistics services.

• Aggregated data also cannot be published and shared, if there is a possibiltiy of identifiyng them with a specific person or economic entity. In case of individual data, it means that information characterising economic results of economic entities cannot be shared, if a specific aggregation is made out of less than 3 entities or if a share of a single entity in a given aggregation is higher than 3/4 of total.
• Requests for unpublished data and for information from official registers on a fee-paying basis. Cost calculation for data provision is based on currently effective "Price list for services provided by public statistics services".

SCOPE AND FORM OF SHARING INFORMATION

Scope and form of sharing statistical information are determined by a Programme of Statistical Surveys of Public Statistics, approved annually by a Council of Ministers. All other statistical data aggregations, besides those listed in the Programme - can be prepared (taking statistical confidentality into consideration) for a specific request of a receiver on a fee-paying basis. Information is made available in the form of:

• publishings (information, publications)
• press communicates and information put in mass-media 
• directly provided information, via phone or by correspondence
• paid orders fulfilled on an individual basis
• information put on the Internet

Order should contain:

• personal scope (whom the information concerns)
• material scope (what kind of information)

As part of the specialisation of Statistical Office in Opole, statistical surveys concerning Prices are conducted using forms: C03, C04, C05, C06 and C09. Fundamental organisational and methodological principles of these surveys are set out in the Council of Ministers' regulation on Programme of Statistical Research of Public Statistics. In accordance with provisions of this regulation, for all mentioned above, respondents ubmit data in the electronic form, using on-line forms available at Reporting Portal.

We would like to announce our Office's participation in student practises programme. We welcome universities and students to review our offer. Office is located in two buildings: one is adjusted to the needs of disabled persons on wheelchairs, equipped with an elevator and restroom for the disabled; in the second building there's a doorbell allowing a disabled persons a contact with Office's staff to handle business in the Office.

Since April 2012, there is also a possibility of requqesting a help of sign interpreter.

In accordance with the Act of 19 August, 2011 on Sign Language and Other Means of Communication (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 20), a person experiencing permanent or temporary difficulties in communication may use the services of sign language interpreter to handle business in the Office.

In Statistical Office in Opole, we provide help of a sign language interpreter - we kindly ask to submit such need 2-3 workdays before planned visit:
